On Saturday, October 30th, 2021, Beta co-hosted Bridgefest with the Alpha Chi Omega sorority at Coupe's. Guests enjoyed live music from local bands and heard from speakers about the importance of healthy relationships, and all proceeds benefited the Shelter for Help in Emergency. It was a beautiful day, and the event was filled with members of Beta and AXO and others from the University community! For more information on the Shelter for Help in Emergency, click here.
On March 19th, 2022, our chapter collaborated with the sisters at Zeta Tau Alpha to produce an outreach-style event in order to raise money for the "Bill Lowry Diversity Equity Inclusion Scholarship". In total, with the combined help from the fraternity and our friends at ZETA, we were able to raise over 4,000 dollars! This event organized by our outreach chair, Joey Ortega, and our philanthropy chair, Spencer Buddington, exhibits our chapter's effort to promote inclusion and diversity across Greek life.
Though our chapter is proud of its current philanthropic efforts, we are always looking for new, impactful events for the future. Beta brothers are always looking for the opportunity to engage even more with the Charlottesville community.
